Procurement Officer

About the role

Odixcity Consulting is seeking a proactive Procurement Officer to join its supply chain team in Port Harcourt. You will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials for oil & gas, manufacturing, and marine projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, request for quotations (RFQs), and source reliable domestic and foreign vendors.
• Negotiate purchase terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to optimise costs.
• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) in line with company policies and procurement software.
• Track orders from placement to final delivery, preventing stockouts.
• Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, pricing data, supplier databases, and vendor performance.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years proven procurement/supply‑chain experience in oil & gas servicing, manufacturing or marine industry.
• Familiarity with oilfield/marine equipment, materials and service contracts.
• Understanding of local content requirements such as Nigerian Content policies is an advantage.
