Principal Offshore Structures Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Offshore Structures Engineer to lead the design, analysis and delivery of offshore civil and structural projects for AAO-TSALACH LIMITED. The role will ensure compliance with industry standards, HSSE requirements and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define civil/structural scope, specifications and requirements for ITT packages.
• Perform technical studies, structural analysis and design using SACS and other civil/structural design software.
• Provide discipline expertise to manage contractor design delivery, ensuring cost, schedule, quality and HSSE targets are met.
• Review and assure FEED and detailed design deliverables.
• Define geotechnical investigation scope and execute foundation design.
• Supervise fabrication and on‑site construction, ensuring quality and safety compliance.
• Drive innovative, cost‑efficient solutions across the facility lifecycle.
• Manage technical and non‑technical stakeholder interfaces and mitigate technical risk.
• Participate in safety workshops, HAZID/HAZOP studies and peer reviews.
• Lead initiatives to enhance shallow offshore asset integrity from design to operation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Membership of NSE and COREN.
• Minimum 10 years of civil/structural engineering experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Experience with offshore platforms, FPSOs or onshore terminals is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SACS structural analysis software.
• Strong knowledge of HSSE frameworks and international engineering standards.
• Experience with civil/structural design software and geotechnical foundation design.
