Pre‑Sale Engineer (IT & Cybersecurity)

About the role

We are looking for a Pre‑Sale Engineer to engage with customers, understand their IT and cybersecurity needs, and design tailored solutions. You will support the sales team throughout the sales cycle and help drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers to gather IT, cybersecurity and business requirements.
• Recommend and design appropriate IT and cybersecurity solutions.
• Support sales teams during meetings, presentations, and the sales cycle.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Prepare technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses and solution documentation.
• Explain complex technical solutions in simple business terms.
• Collaborate with technology partners and vendors on solutions and technical support.
• Identify potential customers and contribute to lead generation and business development.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity technologies, industry trends and competing solutions.
• Support achievement of sales and pipeline targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in pre‑sales, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, network engineering or technical consulting.
• Strong presentation, communication and customer engagement abilities.
• Commercial awareness and willingness to participate in business development.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, networking or vendor technologies are a plus.
