Plant Helper – Concrete Production Support

About the role

Recore Limited is seeking a reliable Plant Helper to support its concrete production plant in Oregun, Lagos. The role involves assisting the batching plant operator with material preparation, equipment handling, and routine maintenance to ensure smooth plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and mixing concrete ingredients (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures) as directed.
• Load and unload materials manually or using basic equipment such as forklifts and wheelbarrows.
• Ensure accurate loading of materials into hoppers or conveyors and monitor equipment for issues.
• Clean mixers, hoppers, conveyors, and related equipment after production runs.
• Support routine maintenance tasks, including lubricating machinery and checking filters.
• Maintain a tidy, hazard‑free work area and report any material shortages or quality concerns.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Basic understanding of concrete production processes is advantageous.
• Willingness to follow instructions and work under supervision.
