PhD Physicist – Remote Contract ($70‑$90/hr)

About the role

We are seeking a PhD‑qualified physicist to join our remote research team on a contract basis. You will work on deep‑dive investigations of fundamental and applied physics topics, supporting AI‑driven scientific evaluation and education.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous research on selected physics subjects, both theoretical and experimental.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and relate findings to existing physical theories.
• Develop clear explanations of complex scientific concepts for AI training and evaluation.
• Create and curate physics‑focused educational content for AI models.
• Critically review AI‑generated material to ensure scientific accuracy and rigor.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align deliverables with project goals.
• Provide feedback on research outcomes and answer physics‑related queries.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) in Physics or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience conducting scientific research and publishing in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Strong foundation in both theoretical and experimental physics.
• Excellent critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• High proficiency in written and verbal communication with a passion for science education.
