Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy

About the role

We are looking for a qualified pharmacist to dispense prescriptions, provide professional counseling, and ensure regulatory compliance in our Lagos pharmacy. The role involves managing inventory, supporting sales growth, and supervising staff.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately following legal and ethical standards.
• Provide counseling on medication use, dosage, side effects, interactions, and lifestyle recommendations.
• Maintain records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances.
• Conduct medication reviews and health screenings as required.
• Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, PCN, and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and manage supply needs.
• Contribute to sales growth through excellent service and customer engagement.
• Supervise sales representatives and cashiers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and completed NYSC.
• 2–3 years of post‑NYSC pharmacy practice experience.
• Strong knowledge of medications, dosage forms, adverse effects, and interactions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and high ethical standards.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good record‑keeping and documentation abilities.
