Pharmacist – Patient Care & Pharmacy Management

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team at Ozeed Pharmacy & Stores in Port Harcourt. The role focuses on delivering safe, effective medication therapy and supporting the overall health of our community.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescriptions and verify dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and adherence.
• Administer routine immunizations such as influenza vaccines.
• Collaborate with physicians to recommend appropriate drug dosages based on lab results.
• Monitor patient treatment outcomes and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Recommend over‑the‑counter remedies for minor ailments.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.

Required profile

• BSc in Pharmacy or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a community pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of drug interactions, safety protocols, and immunization practices.
