Pharmacist

About the role

Hec Recruit is recruiting a pharmacist for a position based in Lagos, Marina. The pharmacist dispenses medicines, advises customers and keeps the pharmacy running safely and in line with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on usage, dosage and side effects.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions and appropriateness.
• Advise customers on over-the-counter products and general health concerns.
• Ensure proper storage, inventory management and stock control of pharmaceutical products.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with PCN and other regulatory guidelines.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff.
• Monitor and manage expired drugs and keep the pharmacy organized and hygienic.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognized university.
• Registered member of the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) with a valid practicing license.
• At least 2 years of post-NYSC experience in a retail, community or hospital pharmacy.
• Excellent communication, counseling and customer service skills, with a high level of integrity, attention to detail and professionalism.
