Pharmacist Intern

About the role

ExCare Health Services Ltd is looking for a Pharmacist Intern to join its pharmacy in Lagos, Marina. The intern works under supervision on prescription review, patient counselling and day-to-day pharmacy operations, while taking part in the delivery and promotion of pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities

• Support prescription review and assist in patient counselling under supervision to ensure safe and appropriate medication use.
• Help organise and maintain the pharmacy layout so drugs and sundries are easy to identify.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock monitoring, shelf arrangement and expiry tracking.
• Help deliver and promote pharmacy services such as basic health checks and patient education.
• Engage customers professionally to support service quality, customer satisfaction and sales initiatives.
• Support compliance with regulatory, legal and professional pharmacy practice standards.
• Take part in continuous learning and professional development within the pharmacy team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and work collaboratively in a retail pharmacy environment.

Required skills

• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and pharmacy information systems.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a patient-centred mindset.

What we offer

• Remuneration of NGN 150,000 per month.
