Partnership and Compliance Lead

About the role

The Partnership and Compliance Lead will drive strategic collaborations and ensure regulatory adherence for Lopterra Services Limited’s Gender Mobile Initiative. Based in Abuja, the role bridges external stakeholders and internal teams to advance gender equality and combat gender‑based violence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, corporate partners, and donors.
• Support implementation of partnership strategies to boost visibility, positioning, and funding opportunities.
• Serve as primary liaison for external partners, negotiating and managing partnership agreements.
• Represent the organization at conferences, meetings, and collaborative forums.
• Monitor relevant laws, donor regulations, and compliance requirements; develop and maintain compliance policies and frameworks.
• Conduct periodic compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
• Support the preparation of grant proposals, concept notes, and donor applications.
• Manage donor compliance processes, ensuring timely reporting and documentation.
• Collaborate with program teams to track deliverables linked to donor‑funded initiatives.
• Prepare regular reports on partnership activities, donor engagement, and compliance status.
• Work with Communications to highlight partnership milestones and impact stories.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on partnership management and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partnership development and donor relations within NGOs or similar organisations.
• Strong knowledge of donor regulations, compliance standards, and relevant legal frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to produce high‑quality grant proposals and compliance reports.
