Packet Core Optimization Specialist (SME) – Nigeria

About the role

We are now looking for a PS Core Optimization SME, who will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and driving the optimization of the Packet Core network to improve its performance. In this role you will lead design and performance optimization (KPI, QoS, QoE) in EPC and PS Core, leveraging automation, programming, and shell scripting, as well as integrating AI/ML solutions for predictive analytics and automated monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze performance and resources on the core and data network across 2G/3G/4G/5G.
• Design, dimension, and optimize EPC and 5G SA/NSA nodes, delivering cost‑effective topologies.
• Automate technical audits, performance monitoring, reporting and corrective actions using Python, Shell or similar.
• Implement AI/ML‑driven predictive analytics and network optimization techniques.
• Develop technical presentations, proposals and support presales activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunication or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Packet Core/EPC with multivendor exposure.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, signaling, traffic cases and KPI management for 2G‑5G.
