Operations Manager – Hospitality Operations

About the role

HOP Services Limited, a hospitality solutions and cleaning firm with more than a decade of experience, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead its Port Harcourt operations. The role focuses on delivering seamless facility services, ensuring guest satisfaction, and driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day facility operations, coordinating across departments to maintain consistent service delivery.
• Monitor guest experience metrics, address inquiries and complaints, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supervise department heads, manage staff scheduling, conduct regular training, and evaluate performance in partnership with HR.
• Oversee operational budgets, analyse revenue and expenses, and introduce cost‑saving measures.
• Enforce hygiene, food safety, fire and overall safety protocols, and ensure compliance with local labour laws and licensing requirements.
• Manage building upkeep, coordinate equipment repairs, and supervise third‑party vendor contracts.
• Support revenue‑optimization strategies across all operational areas.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary degree or professional qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in hotel operations, hospitality management or facility management.
• Strong leadership, financial acumen and knowledge of health‑and‑safety standards.
