Operations Manager – Furniture & Metal Fabrication

About the role

ZICS is a metal fabrication and furniture company seeking an experienced Operations Manager to direct day‑to‑day operational activities and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures from the ground up.
• Provide leadership to teams and promote a culture of excellence and discipline.
• Oversee revenue targets, planning, budgeting, execution and reporting for each department.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed.
• Monitor and evaluate KPIs of teams and advise on improvement areas.
• Assist in recruitment, training and performance management of employees.
• Collaborate with teams and departments to achieve short‑term and long‑term objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies to keep the company competitive and deliver excellent service.

Required profile

• Minimum HND/bachelor's degree with 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
• Very strong background in engineering, metal fabrication and wood works.
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Familiarity with business and financial principles.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of project management software.
• Experience with ERP tools, specifically Odoo ERP.
