Operations Associate

About the role

Chowdeck is seeking an Operations Associate to join its Strategy & Operations team in Ikoyi. You will be the engine room of the zone, ensuring vendors, riders and agents are set up for success and handling daily operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Act as first line of response for requests in the assigned zone, routing issues to the appropriate owners.
• Monitor dashboards and communication channels to quickly identify, prioritize and respond to operational issues.
• Support operational readiness and performance of riders, vendors and agents through onboarding, training, scheduling and routine checks.
• Manage order exceptions and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
• Handle routine operational queries, escalating sensitive or priority matters to the Assistant Zonal Manager.
• Coordinate operational resources and assets in partnership with zonal leadership.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Zonal Manager to identify improvement opportunities and support implementation.

Required profile

• Graduated with a 1st class or 2:1 from a reputable university.
• Ambitious, competitive and willing to work long hours in a high‑growth startup.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and quick decision‑making.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks.
• Clear and confident communicator with teammates, agents, riders or vendors.
