Operational Manager

About the role

The Operational Manager will lead the day‑to‑day activities across the hospitality operation, ensuring smooth processes and high productivity. Reporting to senior management, the role focuses on eliminating bottlenecks, standardising procedures and driving continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work on‑site in Benin City, collaborating with all departments to optimise performance.

Key responsibilities

• Streamline daily workflows to eliminate bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and maximize overall productivity across all operational areas.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) across every department to ensure consistency, quality standards, and reliable service delivery.
• Deploy lean methodologies and continuous improvement strategies aimed at reducing waste, shortening cycle times, and enhancing process performance.
• Evaluate operational software and technology solutions to automate manual tasks, increase accuracy, and support data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• At least two years of proven experience in an operational manager role within the hospitality sector, demonstrating the ability to lead and improve processes.
• A minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent qualification.
• Current residence in Benin City with the ability to stay near the IHAMA, GRA B/C area, ensuring on‑site availability.
