On-Air Studio Host & Presenter

About the role

The On‑Air Studio Host & Presenter will lead live and recorded radio programmes, introduce music and segments, and engage listeners with clear, confident on‑air communication. Working from Genuslab Technologies’ studio in Abuja, you will help shape the station’s sound and build audience loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and follow show rundowns, selecting music and entertainment pieces that match the station’s format.
• Host live broadcasts, cue tracks, conduct on‑air interviews and provide commentary.
• Coordinate with producers and technical staff to ensure smooth production and compliance with scheduling and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor studio equipment during shows and troubleshoot any technical issues.
• Interact with listeners through calls, messages and social media to foster engagement.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to host radio or podcast programmes with a strong on‑air presence.
• Excellent verbal communication, improvisation and storytelling skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced studio environment with tight deadlines.
• Relevant education or training in media, communications, performing arts or a related field is an advantage.
