Nutritionist

About the role

We are looking for a Nutritionist to join our health team in Lagos. The role involves assessing clients’ nutritional needs, creating personalized meal plans, and providing counseling to support weight management and chronic disease prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Assess clients’ health status, dietary habits and nutritional requirements.
• Develop customized meal plans and nutrition programs for weight management, diabetes, hypertension and general wellness.
• Provide nutritional counseling and educate clients on healthy eating and food preparation.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed and keep accurate client records.
• Collaborate with doctors, fitness trainers and other healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Public Health or a related field.
• At least two years of experience as a nutritionist, dietician or wellness consultant.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and health conditions related to nutrition.
• Excellent communication and counseling abilities, with the capacity to work with diverse age groups.
• Good record‑keeping and reporting skills; certification from a recognized professional body is a plus.
