Nanny - Lagos

About the role

A nanny position is available in Lagos, with full-time and part-time opportunities. Work can be live-in or live-out, and candidates must attend an in-person interview and assessment before being introduced to a family. The employer pays a monthly full-time salary starting from NGN 100,000.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and supervision to ensure children's safety and well-being.
• Assist children with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing and personal hygiene, as required.
• Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning and recreational activities.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment for children.
• Follow parents' instructions on childcare routines and household rules.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about children's needs and daily activities.

Required profile

• Experience caring for children, whether professionally or informally; no formal nanny work experience is required if you have relevant informal childcare experience.
• A valid National Identification Number (NIN).
• A caring, patient, trustworthy and responsible attitude.
• Willingness to participate in an in-person interview and assessment before placement.

Required skills

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
