Motion Designer – Craft FinTech Animations

About the role

As a Motion Designer at Moniepoint, you will create high‑quality animations, micro‑interactions, and motion graphics that bring our digital financial experiences to life. Your work will enhance usability, reinforce brand identity, and make complex financial concepts intuitive and engaging.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prototype motion interactions for web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with product designers, engineers, illustrators, and marketing teams to integrate motion across features, onboarding flows, and brand campaigns.
• Define and maintain motion principles and guidelines within the design system.
• Create high‑fidelity animations using After Effects, Principle, Figma, Framer, Lottie, or Rive.
• Partner with engineers for smooth handoff, technical feasibility, and optimal implementation.
• Iterate on animations based on user feedback, usability testing, and performance insights.
• Stay ahead of motion trends, interaction patterns, and fintech best practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience in interactive motion work, micro‑interactions, and UI animations.
• Proficiency with motion design tools such as After Effects, Figma, Framer, Principle, Lottie, and Rive.
• Solid understanding of timing, easing, and physics to create smooth, natural interactions.
• Ability to work within a design system and contribute to scalable motion guidelines.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with prototyping methods to communicate motion intent effectively.
