About the role
We are hiring a Merchant Growth Lead to grow RouteLift’s merchant base across Nigeria. The position is a full‑cycle sales role that covers prospecting, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management. You will be responsible for turning new merchants into repeat customers and increasing delivery volumes.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to potential merchants
- Handle inbound leads and convert them into customers
- Sell RouteLift through WhatsApp, phone and other channels
- Build relationships with merchants and grow their delivery volume
- Manage the sales pipeline and follow up consistently
- Track conversions and identify what’s working
- Share merchant feedback with Product, Marketing and Operations
Required profile
- 2+ years in sales, business development or account management
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Comfortable with outbound sales and cold outreach
- Comfortable selling through WhatsApp and phone
- Self‑driven, organised and data‑oriented
- Based in Lagos or available during Lagos business hours
