About the role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Sales Specialist to lead the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) business for a leading medical equipment provider in Lagos. You will own the full AMC lifecycle, from prospecting and contract negotiation to renewal, invoicing, and client satisfaction, acting as the commercial bridge between service operations and customers.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual AMC sales and renewal targets.
- Identify and develop new AMC opportunities from existing equipment installations and new clients.
- Upsell and cross‑sell comprehensive, multi‑year AMC solutions.
- Collaborate with the equipment sales team to improve AMC attach rates at point of sale.
- Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate terms and close contracts.
- Manage a portfolio of AMC clients to maintain a renewal rate of 90% or higher.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key stakeholders and act as escalation point for service issues.
- Structure AMC pricing models, ensure timely invoicing and monitor contract profitability.
- Report weekly pipeline, forecast renewals and provide market analysis to refine strategy.
Required profile
- BSc/HND in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Business or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical equipment sales/service, with at least 2 years focused on AMC contracts.
- Proven track record of meeting revenue and renewal targets.
- 5+ years of team leadership and P&L responsibility.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience building and using reporting dashboards.
