About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join New Wave International School and deliver high‑quality mathematics instruction to secondary‑school students. The role involves planning lessons, assessing progress and supporting learners to develop strong problem‑solving skills.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver mathematics lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Explain concepts using practical examples and teaching aids.
- Prepare assignments, tests and examination questions.
- Assess student understanding and monitor academic progress.
- Identify learning difficulties and provide targeted support.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
- TRCN certification is a plus.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of secondary‑school mathematics.
- Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
