About the role
A fast‑growing distributed energy company in Nigeria is looking for a Manager, Internal Control to strengthen its internal control environment across finance, operations, and project execution. The role will ensure reliable financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and protection of operational assets as the business scales.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and monitor internal control frameworks.
- Oversee operational and financial controls.
- Lead audit and compliance activities.
- Prevent and investigate fraud.
- Optimize systems and control processes.
- Engage stakeholders and provide reporting.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CISA or CIA (preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in internal control, audit, risk management or compliance, preferably in renewable energy or related sectors.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
