Maintenance Systems Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Systems Specialist to support reliable operations at Kimeric Group’s mining and energy sites in Lagos. The role focuses on maintaining system integrity, managing contracts, and ensuring effective maintenance data handling.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure operational reliability in compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Maintain communication with Operations, Maintenance, and Logistics teams.
• Follow and improve the company’s System (OI) / Controls Integrity (CI) procedures.
• Support Field Maintenance Unit staff and guide procurement activities.
• Manage central contract files and act as liaison between field units and procurement.
• Assist with contract renewals, awards, resolutions, and follow‑up actions.
• Develop contract scopes based on input from operations and maintenance owners.
• Conduct technical pre‑qualifications and assessments for new contracts.
• Enter and extract data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support site maintenance.
• Order materials, document transactions, maintain inventory records, and process invoices.

Required profile

• At least 48 months (4 years) of relevant experience.
• Relevant discipline certification or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams without direct authority.
• Adaptability to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and shifting priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
