Maintenance Instructor

About the role

The Maintenance Instructor will lead the delivery of Aircraft Technician training programmes, ensuring that all course material reflects current regulations and industry best practice. This full‑time position is based in Lagos and requires a strong background in aeronautical maintenance and teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain up‑to‑date training needs analyses for approved Aircraft Technician courses.
• Approve and update training course material, notes, presentations, lesson plans, study guides and examinations.
• Deliver high‑standard training sessions to Aircraft Technician trainees.
• Assist with planning, scheduling and quality control of training courses.
• Conduct examination invigilation and marking where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with Nig.CARs and organisational training standards.

Required profile

• Age between 23 and 30 years.
• Possess an AME licence, instructor authorization from NCAA, or a recognised teaching certificate.
• High level of aeronautical knowledge, especially in aircraft maintenance and regulations.
• Minimum three years (36 months) experience as a Maintenance Engineer/Technician.

Required skills

• Aircraft maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (Nig.CARs).
• Development of technical training materials.
