Machine Learning Engineer – Build Intelligent Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to build intelligent systems and data‑driven products across Chowdeck’s on‑demand delivery platform, tackling forecasting, logistics optimization, ETA prediction, recommendations, fraud detection and operational automation.

Key responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain production‑ready machine learning models and services.
• Develop ML pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and model‑serving infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Product teams to operationalize machine learning systems.
• Improve systems related to ETA prediction, demand forecasting, personalization, and operational optimization.
• Monitor model performance and reliability in production environments.
• Help improve experimentation and data‑driven product development practices.
• Contribute to tooling and infrastructure improvements for ML workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with modern ML frameworks and tooling.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, production‑quality code.
• Data‑driven problem‑solving mindset.
• Focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Thrives in fast‑paced startup environments.
