Listing Agent – Business Platform Sales

About the role

The Listing Agent will drive acquisition of Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs), corporates and professionals for the Nigeria Business Finder platform. You will act as the face of the brand in your territory, guiding business owners through onboarding and showcasing the benefits of free and premium listings.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach SMEs, corporates and professionals through field visits, calls, email and local events.
• Explain the value of Nigeria Business Finder listings, including basic profiles, premium visibility, CAC‑verified badges and lead‑generation tools.
• Assist business owners with accurate onboarding and profile setup.
• Build relationships with trade associations, market unions and business groups to generate bulk sign‑ups.
• Organise or support local activation events and sign‑up drives.
• Track registrations, report weekly/monthly performance and provide market and competitor feedback.
• Maintain a strong, positive reputation for Nigeria Business Finder in the assigned territory.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development or field marketing (directory or marketplace experience a plus).
• A degree in business, marketing, economics or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Resident of, or deeply connected to, the state you will serve with strong local commercial knowledge.
• Comfortable using a smartphone, email and basic digital tools for lead management and reporting.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and meet monthly targets.
• Willingness to travel within the state to meet business owners in person.
