Lawyer – Corporate & Commercial Law

About the role

Gresyndale Legal is seeking a motivated lawyer to join its Lagos office. This full‑time position offers the chance to develop expertise in corporate, commercial and regulatory matters while supporting senior counsel on a variety of client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft clear research notes, first drafts, and issue summaries.
• Assist in preparing agreements, correspondence, court filings, regulatory submissions and transaction documents.
• Participate in matter meetings, internal reviews and training sessions, applying feedback diligently.
• Maintain accurate case files, trackers and matter records, meeting agreed turnaround times.
• Support senior lawyers on client matters and progressively own defined tasks as competence grows.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years post‑qualification or equivalent relevant legal experience.
• Strong academic foundation with evidence of sound legal reasoning.
• Excellent legal research, writing and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines.
• Professional maturity, responsiveness and openness to detailed feedback.
• Interest in corporate/commercial law, litigation, compliance or regulated‑sector work.
