Laundry Personnel

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Laundry Personnel to join our hospitality team in Port Harcourt. You will be responsible for handling all aspects of laundry operations, ensuring garments and linens are cleaned, pressed, and delivered to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and inspect laundry items before processing.
• Wash, dry, iron, fold, and package garments, linens, and other fabrics according to established procedures.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washing machines, dryers, steamers, and pressing machines.
• Treat stains using appropriate cleaning methods and chemicals.
• Handle delicate fabrics according to care labels and maintain confidentiality of customers' items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
• Monitor and report low stock levels of detergents and chemicals.
• Inspect finished laundry to ensure quality standards before delivery.
• Report damaged garments, equipment faults, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE qualification.
• Previous experience in a laundry or dry‑cleaning environment is an advantage.
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
• Flexible to work weekends and public holidays if required.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, honesty, and professionalism.
