Kitchen Assistant

About the role

Join Khadasha Innovations Africa as a Kitchen Assistant, providing essential support to cooks and chefs in a fast‑paced kitchen environment at our Lagos location.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, portion, and prepare ingredients as directed.
• Assist cooks and chefs with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks.
• Clean and sanitise utensils, equipment, workstations, and kitchen areas.
• Receive, organise, and store food supplies according to established procedures.
• Support stock rotation, monitor food supplies, and manage waste disposal.
• Set up kitchen stations before food preparation and service, and follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE/WAEC or equivalent qualification.
• Entry‑level experience (up to 12 months) in a kitchen or similar role preferred.
• Physical fitness to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Good organisational skills, attention to cleanliness, and ability to work effectively within a team.
