Junior Creative Designer (Graphics)

About the role

Oponeko, an all-in-one school management platform for private schools in Nigeria and across Africa, is hiring a Junior Creative Designer (Graphics) to help shape how the brand looks and feels to schools. This is a full-time, remote role where you turn ideas into clear, attractive designs for social media, marketing campaigns and brand materials, working closely with the social media and marketing team.

Key responsibilities

• Design social media graphics, flyers and carousels for marketing campaigns
• Create ad creatives for Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn
• Produce branding materials, email graphics and presentation visuals
• Keep every design consistent with the Oponeko brand
• Take feedback well and improve your work quickly
• Manage several design requests at once and deliver on time

Required profile

• A strong online portfolio of graphic design work (required)
• Some professional graphic design experience, including freelance work
• Good grasp of visual design principles, typography, branding and logo design
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Able to collaborate with a team to keep quality and consistency high

Required skills

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW
• Sharp attention to detail
