Junior Business Intelligence & Data Automation Analyst

About the role

This position supports the development and maintenance of automated data trackers and dashboards to improve operational efficiency within a recruitment environment. The junior analyst will work closely with sales, product, and operations teams to ensure data integrity and actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and maintain automated Excel and Google Sheets trackers for workflow efficiency.
• Manage dynamic dashboards that monitor key metrics such as turnaround times, placement fulfilment ratios and background‑check completion rates.
• Generate weekly utilisation reports to assess tool adoption, accuracy and compliance across teams.
• Support product development by analysing user feedback and usage metrics for internal and client‑facing data tools.
• Enforce data governance across ATS (Manatal), CRM systems and operational databases, and assist sales operations with pipeline and billing data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or an Engineering discipline.
• 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience analysing structured corporate data.
• High attention to detail with the ability to spot data discrepancies and formatting errors instantly.
• Proven capability to transform complex operational information into clean, logical data frameworks and actionable reports.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, nested IFs, Pivot Tables, data validation, dynamic charting).
• Google Sheets and Google Apps Script automation.
• Power BI or Looker Studio for visualisation.
• SQL querying (strong plus).
• Familiarity with ATS (Manatal) and CRM data structures.
