IT / Facility Support Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT / Facility Support Officer to deliver first‑line IT assistance and ensure the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities in Lekki. The role combines technical support for end‑users with coordination of building maintenance to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for hardware, software, printers and network issues; install and configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, email setup, access permissions and monitor network connectivity, internet services and Wi‑Fi infrastructure.
• Perform system updates, backups, antivirus management and maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Coordinate routine maintenance of electrical, plumbing, air‑conditioning and other building systems; liaise with vendors for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct facility inspections, ensure cleanliness, safety and compliance with health‑safety standards, and document maintenance schedules.
• Prepare reports on IT performance and facility maintenance, support office relocations and infrastructure improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Facilities Management or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in IT support, facilities management or a similar role, preferably within a healthcare or corporate environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows operating systems, basic networking and office infrastructure.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL or CCNA are an advantage.
