Investment Research Lead

About the role

The Investment Research Lead will join PAC Holdings in Lagos, working in a hybrid setting to drive deep research and analysis across the firm’s target sectors. You will support deal origination, due diligence and investment decisions by delivering rigorous sector and company insights.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive sector and company analyses for target markets such as Financial Services, Hospitality, Real Estate, Agro‑Allied, Healthcare and Technology.
• Build, maintain and update detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and forecast performance.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio performance and track market trends, regulatory changes and macro‑economic indicators.
• Collaborate with investment, finance and strategy teams throughout the deal lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong finance background with knowledge of investment principles and capital markets.
• Proven analytical ability to assess industries, companies and macro‑economic trends.
• Experience in financial statement analysis, financial reporting and financial planning, including forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Relevant academic qualifications in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related fields; professional certifications (CFA, ACA, ACCA) are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with research tools and data platforms used for investment analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex analysis.
