Inventory Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized, experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our inventory levels, ensuring efficient supply chain operations, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands while avoiding overstock or stockouts; conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure timely order processing and accurate shipment of products to customers.
• Utilize data analysis tools to assess inventory trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend appropriate solutions for inventory optimization.
• Work closely with suppliers to maintain healthy relationships, manage order timelines, and negotiate favorable terms for inventory procurement.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance inventory management procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in forecasting inventory needs based on historical data, market trends, and sales projections.

Required profile

• 2 - 3 years of experience as an Inventory Specialist or in a similar role.
• Minimum of BSc/HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or any related field.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Shopify and other standard office technology.
• Ability to pay strong attention to detail.
• Close proximity to job location.
