Inventory Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee the accurate tracking, storage, and distribution of construction and interior finishing materials across multiple project sites. The successful candidate will ensure that material availability aligns with project schedules, minimizing delays and cost overruns. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of company assets and supporting the overall efficiency of construction operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain precise, up‑to‑date inventory records for all construction and finishing materials using the company’s inventory management system.
• Monitor stock levels, material consumption rates, and movements between the central warehouse and on‑site locations, flagging any discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, project managers, and site teams to guarantee that required materials are delivered on time and in the correct quantities.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts, reconcile them with system data, and investigate any variances to ensure data accuracy.
• Implement and enforce proper storage, labeling, and material handling procedures to protect assets and comply with safety standards.
• Prepare detailed inventory reports, identify potential shortages or wastage, and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
• Authorize material issuance only against approved requisitions and project specifications, ensuring accountability at every step.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma qualification in a relevant field.
• At least 24 months (2 years) of hands‑on experience in inventory control, stock management, or a similar role within the construction sector.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with procurement, project, and site teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
