Inventory & Logistics Officer

About the role

Dates & Events Ltd is looking for an organized Inventory & Logistics Officer to oversee rental assets and coordinate daily logistics for events in Lagos. The role ensures accurate inventory tracking, efficient delivery operations, and smooth warehouse processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain precise inventory records for all rental equipment, conduct regular stock counts and audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Plan and coordinate daily deliveries, pickups, and transfers, supervising drivers and logistics personnel.
• Oversee warehouse activities including receiving, storage, loading, unloading, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
• Document assets before dispatch and upon return, monitor utilization, and coordinate repair or replacement of damaged items.
• Prepare inventory and logistics performance reports, track costs, and provide regular updates to management.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in event rental, hospitality, or similar operational environments is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, planning, and coordination abilities with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
