Implementation Officer – Retail POS Onboarding

About the role

The Implementation Officer will guide new retail customers in Enugu through the adoption of Moniebook POS, ensuring the solution is fully integrated into daily store operations within the first 30‑60 days. Acting as the primary point of contact during onboarding, you will translate business needs into a configured POS experience that drives usage and value.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute tailored onboarding plans, defining milestones, timelines and success metrics for each retailer.
• Assist customers with initial Moniebook POS setup and configuration to match their workflow.
• Deliver engaging live training sessions—both one‑on‑one and group—to teach core features, best practices and operational processes.
• Monitor usage data, transaction volume and feature adoption, intervening proactively with at‑risk customers.
• Build trust‑based relationships with store owners and staff, providing responsive, solution‑focused support.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical or user issues, escalating when necessary.
• Hand over fully onboarded customers to Account Managers for ongoing success.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to understand retail operations and translate them into POS configurations.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience delivering product training and onboarding.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and basic configuration.
