Impact Manager

About the role

Acumen is seeking an Impact Manager to support the Associate Director of Impact in designing and implementing the Theory of Change and Impact Framework for Acumen Academy. The role operates under a hybrid model, requiring presence in the West Africa (Lagos) or Colombia (Bogotá) office three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the Impact Framework and Theory of Change for all projects.
• Develop Logframes, logic models, and Impact Measurement plans.
• Create Indicator Tracking Tables and project dashboards to monitor targets versus actuals.
• Ensure all projects have SMART objectives and indicators.
• Design Performance Management Plans, including data flow and analysis in collaboration with the data team.
• Oversee data collection, extraction, cleaning, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
• Develop, test, and validate quantitative and qualitative data collection tools.
• Lead data integrity and cleaning initiatives with regional data leads.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in impact measurement, Theory of Change development, or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of designing impact frameworks.
• Self‑starter capable of working independently.
• Comfortable working with data and technology.
• Motivated to learn and grow within an impact‑focused role.
