HSE Supervisor – Fire Safety (Manufacturing)

About the role

The HSE Supervisor – Fire is responsible for ensuring all health, safety and environmental requirements related to fire prevention, protection and response are met across the manufacturing site. The role implements engineering, education and enforcement measures, identifies hazards, assesses risks and applies control measures to prevent accidents.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise enforcement and compliance of all safety rules, safe work practices and strict work‑permit systems for non‑routine tasks.
• Ensure correct functionality of critical‑to‑safety equipment at strategic locations such as LNG, solvent extraction plants, refinery and other units.
• Maintain integrity of fire‑suppression and detection infrastructure throughout the site.
• Conduct regular checks on fire‑truck readiness and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate timely and safe evacuation of personnel during emergencies with the site emergency response team.
• Perform daily inspections of underground water storage levels and fire‑hydrant pumps to guarantee emergency readiness.
• Respond to and fight fires on factory premises and other company‑owned properties.

Required profile
