HR Manager

About the role

Our client, based in VI, Lagos, is currently seeking an HR Manager to lead and build on the people function within the organization. This role owns the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, performance management, culture, and HR systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment from job requisitions through offer and onboarding.
• Manage HR compliance with Nigerian labour law, including contracts, statutory deductions, leave policies, and workplace safety standards.
• Oversee the performance management system, including goal‑setting, review cycles, and career progression pathways.
• Lead employee relations, conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes.
• Set up and manage HR systems/tools such as HRIS, payroll coordination, and attendance/shift tracking.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Solid working knowledge of Nigerian labour law and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience managing recruitment pipelines and onboarding new employees.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills with discretion.
• Experience with HRIS/HR tools and basic payroll coordination.
• Bachelor's degree or HND in a related field; HR certifications (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM) are a strong plus.
