HR Manager

About the role

The HR Manager will lead all human‑resources activities for our manufacturing operations in Lagos. You will partner with hiring managers, ensure compliance with Nigerian labour law, and foster a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Define role requirements with hiring managers, source candidates, conduct screenings and interviews, and manage offers and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave tracking, and contract administration in line with the Nigerian Labour Act.
• Enforce HR policies, monitor safety protocols, and conduct regular policy briefings for staff.
• Deliver structured onboarding, induction programmes and coordinate technical and safety training for engineers, production and sales teams.
• Act as primary HR contact for employee relations, handling grievances, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
• Prepare HR dashboards and reports on headcount, turnover, attendance and recruitment metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years HR management experience in Nigeria, with proven recruitment and employee‑relations track record.
• Completed NYSC certificate (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, including the Labour Act and statutory compliance.
• Excellent English communication; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
• High integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail; experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
