HR Manager – End‑to‑End People Operations

About the role

We need someone to own the entire people function end‑to‑end, from seat approval to employee exit, ensuring systems, evidence and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment, End‑to‑End: Own hiring from seat approval to productivity, targeting time‑to‑fill ≤30 days and maintaining a bench of at least two warm candidates per vacancy.
• Onboarding: Ensure day‑one readiness – tools, access, printed materials, signed agreements and a named buddy – so new hires never spend the first week chasing a chair.
• Probation & Appraisal: Schedule and conduct 12‑weekly reviews booked on day one, and guarantee timely appraisals based on evidence already shared with the employee.
• Culture vote reporting: Collate the Monday/Wednesday/Friday culture vote, witness it the same day and report the results honestly to the CEO, even when the news is unwelcome.
• People Record maintenance: Keep contracts, agreements, integrity logs, training records and examination results accurate, current and confidential.
• Retention analysis: Measure whether good people stay and treat every exit as a question about the organization, not just the individual.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of HR experience with at least 2 years of direct recruitment ownership (not just coordination).
• Practical knowledge of Nigerian employment obligations – contracts, PAYE, pension, NSITF, ITF and group life – sufficient to avoid compliance errors.
• Proven experience hiring across operational, professional and senior role types.
• Structured, data‑driven mindset comfortable working with documents, records and spreadsheets; everything is written down.
• Professional membership such as CIPM is welcome but not mandatory.
