Housekeeper

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness across its facilities in Port Harcourt and the Marina area. This full‑time position involves daily cleaning, linen management and supporting special projects as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and tidy assigned rooms, offices, hallways and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and dust surfaces on a regular schedule.
• Change bed linens, make beds and replenish towels.
• Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens and other facilities.
• Restock toiletries, cleaning supplies and other amenities.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Wash, fold and organize laundry when required.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning materials in good condition.

Required profile

• High school certificate or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in hotels, guest houses, hospitals or residential facilities.
• Strong attention to detail and good time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reliability, honesty and professionalism.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Required skills

• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and cleaning techniques.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety practices.
