Housekeeper

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Housekeeper to join our team at Besimplified Facilities Limited in Port Harcourt. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas in line with hotel standards, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise rooms and public areas, including corridors and stairways.
• Maintain clean and functional bathrooms, reporting any defects promptly.
• Collect and deliver laundry, handle lost-and-found items, and support deep-cleaning programmes.
• Adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards, and ensure proper use and storage of cleaning equipment.
• Maintain accurate housekeeping records, checklists, and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel cleaning (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

What we offer

• Monthly salary ranging from NGN 70,000 to NGN 150,000.
• Full-time permanent position reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
