Heavy-Duty Tire Technician & Mechanic

About the role

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Heavy‑Duty Tire Technician & Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team in Lagos. You will work independently to service, repair, and manage tires for heavy transport vehicles up to 30‑ton trucks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform autonomous tire replacements, patching, repairs, inflation and balancing for 30‑ton commercial trucks.
• Carry out basic mechanical repairs such as engine oil changes, brake adjustments, fluid refills and light bulb replacements.
• Inspect tires and mechanical components to identify wear, damage or safety hazards.
• Safely operate heavy shop tools, jacks, pneumatic wrenches and commercial tire‑changing machinery.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with commercial truck tires or heavy‑duty vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to work unsupervised on large truck tire changes and repairs.
• Good understanding of large‑truck mechanics and general servicing procedures.
• Excellent physical fitness and strength to lift heavy tires, rims and equipment daily.
• Punctual, honest, safety‑conscious and dedicated to high‑quality work.
