About the role
The Health Care Assistant will support patients with daily living activities and basic clinical tasks in a healthcare setting in Lagos. This role involves direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and mobility using aids.
- Track and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration and weight, reporting changes to nursing staff.
- Collect lab specimens, prepare rooms, sterilize equipment and provide basic wound care.
- Maintain patient rooms by changing linens, cleaning, emptying bedpans/commodes and restocking supplies.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Minimum of a degree in a related field.
