Full Time Pharmacist

About the role

This full‑time pharmacist position at HEALTHPLUS is an on‑site role based in Enugu. The pharmacist will ensure accurate dispensing of prescribed medications, provide counseling to patients and caregivers, and monitor for drug interactions and contraindications.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and maintain up‑to‑date patient medication records.
• Counsel patients and caregivers on proper medication use and monitor for interactions.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals, and comply with regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimise treatment plans.
• Participate in clinical audits, health education initiatives, and continuous improvement of pharmacy processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
• Valid pharmacist licence/registration in the relevant jurisdiction and good standing.
• Professional knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and medication safety practices.
• Strong patient counseling and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail, high ethical standards, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
