Head of Operations - Real Estate

About the role

Woye Group is looking for a Head of Operations in Lagos to lead its real estate operations. The role covers day-to-day running of property management, facility maintenance and administrative workflows across the group's assets, while driving occupancy, rental collection and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Operational governance: streamline daily real estate operations, property management routines, facility maintenance and administrative workflows across Woye Group assets.
• Project and site execution: oversee development schedules, contractor deliverables, site inspections and property handovers to avoid delays and stay within budget.
• Financial and yield optimisation: drive occupancy rates, rental collection pipelines, service charge administration and operational cost controls to maximise asset profitability.
• Team leadership: direct, mentor and hold field agents, facility staff, administrative teams and external vendors accountable with a firm but supportive style.
• Risk and statutory compliance: ensure developments and managed properties comply with state building regulations, land title documentation, tax filings and safety codes.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of proven operational leadership experience in real estate management, asset portfolio oversight or commercial property development.
• HND in Estate Management, Business Administration, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Professional membership (e.g. NIESV, ESVARBON, PMP) is an added advantage.
• Firm enforcement of operational standards, with strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
• Strict adherence to the group's non-smoking and non-drinking code of conduct.
• Preferably a female candidate aged 37-45, described as a tough, resilient operational leader with high emotional intelligence and strong people management skills.
