Head of Operations

About the role

Juyonna Limited is seeking a dynamic Head of Operations to lead daily activities across ticketing, reservations, customer service and vendor coordination for its travel agency in Abuja. The role reports to senior management and drives operational excellence while ensuring compliance with airline and IATA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across ticketing, reservations, customer service and vendor coordination.
• Develop, implement and refine SOPs to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
• Lead, mentor and manage the operations team, handling hiring, training and performance evaluations.
• Manage relationships with airlines, hotels and other travel vendors to secure favorable rates and resolve escalated issues.
• Oversee budgeting and cost control for operational functions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in travel operations, agency management or a related supervisory role.
• Residence in Wuse 2, Jahi or Kado (Abuja) or willingness to relocate.
• Strong knowledge of GDS platforms, fare construction and ticketing procedures.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality or related field preferred.

• Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo (GDS platforms).
• Microsoft Office suite.
• CRM systems and booking/reservation software.
• Data‑driven analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
